Hi all, poor Nora's fur matts really easy and I find it hard to keep on top of, as unlike my other three rabbits she's not very touchy-feely and always struggles. Now something new has happend: she has a bald patch that goes all around her neck and I can't figure out how to tackle it. When I trim the ruff of matted fur with scissors I'm left with an even bigger bald area going down past her shoulders. I can always go to the vet, but their policy is to put a rabbit under general anaesthetic to clip them - and Nora is 7 or 8 now, so that's pretty dangerous. The local grooming service is booked till January. Any suggestions? Thank you. I've attached how she normally looks and a pic of what's going on now. Attachments:
