Don't wanna put this in Rainbow Bridge, would prefer to be optimistic! The Bunnies decided to free themselves from my tyranny & oppression, unleashing themselves on the Australian Outback. Either that or a predator had a go at them & they went into hiding & I abandoned them to the Wild, so I could make it back to Perth in time for Metallica. Perhaps worth the sacrifice of 2 Rabbits? They put on a great show. They weren't coping with the travelling very well, Biggles in particular looked close to Croking. So let them out for a run-around, they may have balked at the prospect of more travel & took their chances. Night before my 30th Birthday - about 50km North of Minilya. :-( Left 5L of Water & some Apples, Tomatoes & Feed out for them. Live Long & Prosper, Biggles & Buggsy. Buggsy might even hook up with a stud male Bunny, do what they do best & produce many Offspring! Here's hoping..... 23 28' 57.55 S 114 16' 31.75 E

I am confused, did you purposely release domestic rabbits into the wild?

No, of course not. They weren't coping with the travelling at all well, I let them out for a run & during the course of the night, they disappeared. (I camped out - 24 hr. stop) I don't know the exact reason for their disappearance. Only conjecture. They may have become a bit spoilt & become unused to being caged up, I let them have the run of the Backyard, typically.

The agouti mightve had a chance for a while but i really doubt the butterfly lasted very long being white and practically glow in the dark
