can any one help me.. recently i had my old dog put to sleep who my rabbit adored we also have a large pointer dog who she is fine with. 2 days ago i bought a new puppy home. a little malt x shihtzu and my rabbit really wants to kill it. if she sees her she chargers and attacks(biting) and i think i wasnt there to stop it she wouldnt stop. she has even attacked me a few times now because ive been between her and the puppy. she did a similar thing when my friend bought her bun over for a play.. i think when pups a bit bigger it wont be soo bad.. but at the moment shes terrified. ive tried the water spray and putting her in the bedroom, i even tried having them both outside in the garden as biscuit is not so brave out there but she still did it. I really love my biscuitbunny ANY ADVICE Attachments:

Killer bunny!lol It should settle over time, patience is the key but it would be funny to watch! It's probably just because the puppies new and it's a dominance thing once bunny's sure shes the boss she should calm down.

Hi, now its been nearly 2months and my puppy and rabbit are now friends (off course biscuit bunny is the boss) they have a healthy relationship. In the end i just let nature do its thing. My rabbit had my bedroom where she has always lived as her own sanctuary where puppy wasnt allowed and when ever we were out or busy puppy was put in the laundry bathroom area where she couldnt cause any trouble. In the end biscuit did come around and now puppy is even allowed to slleeep in bed with us. THANK GOD Attachments:
